Founded in 1993, the American Menopause Foundation provides education, support and assistance to women and their families on all issues concerning menopause.

A consumer oriented not-for-profit organization, we educate all levels of government as well as the general public about menopause. We advocate for research that will improve the lives of women and their families and will lead to a clear understanding of menopause and its effects. We seek to go beyond the mythology, the distortions, and the comedy, to underscore research and promote the reality of this life condition.
