Founded in 1993, the American Menopause Foundation, Inc., is the only independent not for profit health organization dedicated to providing support and assistance on all issues concerning menopause. Through our newsletter, literature, and educational programs, we provide the latest information on scientific research and other pertinent facts in the field of menopause. Our network of volunteers serves as a resource for women, families organizations and corporations for whom the symptoms of menopause have become a growing concern.
The foundation's advocacy program seeks a shared commitment with government at federal, state, and community levels to encourage the advancement of private and public research for the treatment and management of menopause, and to facilitate the approval of remedies designed to alleviate the symptoms of menopause.
